30 Mar 2021
Dear Parents,
We have a big final week of Term 1 for Kindergarten.
Tuesday, 30 March - School Photo Day. Children are to wear the Summer uniform, school dress for the girls, school shirt & grey shorts for the boys. Please send in the photo envelope in on Tuesday with the students. Kinder classes are scheduled for their photos in the morning session. Sibling photos are usually done at lunch time, with older siblings coming down to collect the younger siblings. The photos will be sent home with the children some time early in Term 2, please be patient as the photo company that organise this have multiple schools/events to organise, print and deliver.
Wednesday, 31 March - Teddy Bear's Picnic. Kindergarten Children may wear mufti (casual clothes) and bring in a teddy bear (or soft toy).
Thursday, 1st April - Easter Hat Parade. Children may wear mufti on the day. Ideally, children could bring in their Easter Hat, Easter mask or Easter poster beforehand to eliminate upset children if they forget to bring in their creation on Thursday morning.
The parade will start at approx 10.40am under the Primary Cola. The parade route may be expanded to still cater for social distancing of adults.
Covid rules have changed and may be changing again as of Monday. However, the Department of Education's guidelines may differ to what gets reported in the media. If there are easing of restrictions, please keep an eye on eNews and the school's facebook page. Please remember to complete the Covid check in on the NSW Service app at the Hamilton Rd Entrance when entering the school grounds.
If children are leaving early after the parade, please see your child's teacher to sign out next to child's name (adding the time as well please).
Friday, 2 April - Good Friday (School Holidays start)
Tuesday, 20 April - All students return to school.
Thank you for keeping the Kindergarten children coming to school on time, providing munch and crunch (fresh fruit & vegetable snacks) and listening to, and recording their home readers they have read! It is appreciated. Have a safe and enjoyable Easter school holiday break with the children.
Regards
Mr Edwards and the Kindergarten Teachers
